I L-O-V-E Monterey Pinot Noir! This wine is my favorite to drink at home. Our 2014 Pinot Noir, Monterey has dried cherry pit, red cranberry fruit, earthy-moist-loam, raspberries, dried herbs and tar combine with leafy and earthy vine flavors. Subtle butterscotch, vanilla and cotton candy aromas and flavors blend with all this fruit to make a wonderful sip. This well-balanced, elegant wine has a long delightful finish. The grapes are picked at optimum ripeness, 25.7 Brix for this vintage and the resulting fermentation ran for 8 days with mechanical punch down, pressing directly to barrel down with malo-lactic completing in the barrel.
