You will love this wine. THESE GRAPES VINES ARE UGLY! Los Amigos is from a small, family-owned vineyard near Healdsburg in Sonoma County because it is so fruit-filled and satisfying year after year. Grown in a cool area well suited for Pinot Noir, the Zinfandels from this area are bright and candied with soft tannins - very different from their robust Dry Creek Cousins. Fountaingrove District Zinfandel takes about 2 years to really shine, but once it does - it easily overtakes all other Sonoma County AVA's. Give it a try - this is wonderful! ~Nancy
