Just like her name, our little bumblebee. will make your heart flutter! Aromas and flavors of licorice, anise, blackberry pie, cola, vanilla, cotton candy, and black cherry. Ooh, La La!

Our little Bumblebee Vineyard is tucked away in a small canyon just 0.5 miles past Dry Creek Exit on HWY101 in Healdsburg.  It is owned by a brother and sister and father - and the sister is the farmer here.  The vineyard shares footing in an Oakwood and Douglas fir forest.  The soils are predominately named "Red Vine Soil," by the USGS (United States Geological Service) and it is perfect for growing red grapes. I love hiking through this vineyard, listening to the Bluejays scolding me for entering their territory.  Give our little Bumble Bee a taste - you love this wine! Only 300 cases made.

Step One:  Bleed off the low alcohol, low color juice at the press.  Step Two:  Take remaining grapes and skins and ferment to dryness,  Step Three:  Barrel down for 9 months after fermentation.  Step four:   Drink with a friend!  We used these grapes to make our rose and then the balance of the skins were fermented .  The resulting zinfandel wine is super concentrated, and deliciously rich.Spicey berry pie flavors and dark chocolate on smooth, velvety tannis.  - Nancy

This wine, “Los Amigos,” - means “the friends.” The wine, like its name, is very inviting and lovely to enjoy. The vineyard is small, looks unkempt, and grows right next to the freeway on the east side of the road. It’s an older vineyard and one of the best I have ever worked with. Zinfandel vines are funny - they look tired and worn out, and the fruit is better the uglier the vines look! LOL. We have just taken home GOLD, DOUBLE GOLD, AND 3 Silver medals on this wine and expect to receive gold soon! Enjoy a glass with a friend...  ~ Nancy

1.5 Liter Hand Painted and Etched large format bottle, our 2013 Zinfandel has bright cranberry, lifesaver candy, black-cherry pie, and is delightful mouthful of candied fruit!  I absolutely love to make Zinfandel from the Russian River Valley because it is so fruit filled and satisfying year after year. Grown in a cool area well suited for Pinot Noir, and the Zinfandels from this area are bright and candied with soft tannins - very different from their robust Dry Creek Cousins.  Russian River Zinfandel takes about 2 years to really shine, but once it does - it easily overtakes all other Sonoma County AVA's.  Give this 1.5 liter, painted and etched magnum with 24-karat gold a try and you will love it too!  Nancy
