Step One: Bleed off the low alcohol, low color juice at the press. Step Two: Take remaining grapes and skins and ferment to dryness, Step Three: Barrel down for 9 months after fermentation. Step four: Drink with a friend! We used these grapes to make our rose and then the balance of the skins were fermented . The resulting zinfandel wine is super concentrated, and deliciously rich.Spicey berry pie flavors and dark chocolate on smooth, velvety tannis. - Nancy

Our little Ponytails yield mighty flavors of concentrated blackberry, ripe fig, high-toned cherry, white pepper, and violets, all on a dreamy bed of vanilla crème and mocha pillows. It is grown North of the town of Healdsburg just a heartbeat from the Healdsburg Airport. The vines are small and struggle to grow in soil rich in gravel and hilly conditions. We let this vintage hang well into the first week of harvest - but a blast of hot air - from a heatwave -brought us to our knees and we picked these. This wine is rich in white pepper, violets, bright blackberry, and dark chocolate on the finish. Only 75 cases made and it may come down to first-come-first-serve for this beautiful wine. With 16.5% alcohol - this wine is certainly not shy but well balanced and lovely! Took GOLD at the 2020 SAN FRANCISCO WINE COMPETITION. More will certainly follow. These wine infused Premium Oak Pellets are made right here in Wine Country by owners Brenda and Tom Reed. They use wood that was aging in California Red Wines for 3-18 months prior to drying and pelletizing. The wines used may be one or more varietals like Pinot Noir, Cabernet Sauvignon, Zinfandel, Caberne Franc, Merlot, Syrah, or Petite Sirah from sunny California. Add and enrich the flavors during your BBQ any time. Makes a great gift for that special someone either back yard BBQ or camping on the go!
